An evening with
classical ottoman maqam music

with D.Enis Mete (Oud,Voice, Ney)

at the Institut IDEO on 25th February 09 at 7.30 evening

Enis Mete works in Vienna as maqam musictherapist and makes studies around the ottoman music and literature in the Orientalistic there.He will present on Wednesday in the Dominican Institute for Oriental Studies some classical masterpieces of the ottoman musictradition and will also give some background information to this 500 years old Repertoire. Talks, Tea and Music will lead through the evening.
